5 Simple Steps

We are all unique individuals. Some of us are ready to run a marathon, others jus want to be able to walk around the block. Our mission at Tyjeski Family Chiropractic is to help you reach your goals, whatever they are. In this blog we have 5 simple steps to support your health goals.

Glass-of-Water1.  Drink More Water – Water makes up 80% of your blood and 50% of your bones, so it is an essential part of your diet.  Dehydration also causes fatigue and sometimes feels like hunger.  Drinking more water can help you be more productive and loose weight.

2.  Phone  a Friend – Sharing your goals with a friend helps keep you on track.  And while seeking out a friend, don’t forget to be one too!  Studies show that friendships not only help increase a sense of belonging and self worth, but help reduce stress too!

3.  Love to Laugh – Laughing eases stress, promotes social bonding, lowers blood pressure and even boosts the immune system.  Have you laughed today?

sleep4.  Hit the Sack – At least 7 hours of sleep is necessary for optimum health.  So set a target bedtime, and do your best to get a good night’s sleep.

5.  Banish “Should” – when you say you “should” do something, it feels like a chore.  If it is worth doing, “want” to do it!

 

Change is hard.  Forgive yourself if yesterday didn’t’ go as well as it could have, and remember: Each new day is a new beginning.  Each step forward is a step closer to your goal.  Love yourself first, improve yourself after that!
